INTERNATIONAL VERSIONS OF MTV

MTV was launched thirty-four years ago on August 1, 1981.  Video Killed the Radio Star by the Buggles was the first ever music video played on the network.  Well, yeah, in the United States of America at least, the YouTube Vlogger killed the Video Star when the United States version of MTV largely stopped playing music videos and MTV no longer calls itself Music Television.  However, MTV isn't limited only to MTV and MTV 2.  Here are other versions of MTV that the Gentle Reader may not be aware of.

Well, anyway, in Milan, Italy at the Mediolanum Forum on October 25, 2015, MTV Europe held the European Music Awards (EMA) hosted by Ruby Rose and Ed Sheeran.  And though I don't have MTV on my cable television options and MTV Europe isn't available in the United States, I ended up missing the MTV European Music Awards that were broadcasted from Milan, Italy.  Anyway, here are some photos from the event.
