Bar Refaeli (Hebrew: בר רפאלי) is a devout Jew who was born in Hod HaSharon, Israel on June 4, 1985. Rafi and Tzipi Refaeli were secular horse ranchers and parents to Bar Refaeli. Tzipi Refaeli was a successful 1970's era fashion model under the stage name of Tzipi Levine. While Bar Refaeli's parents were born and raised in Israel, her grandparents escaped Nazi persecution from their original birth countries of Italy, Poland and Republic of Lithuania. Bar Refaeli first started her fashion modeling career as an infant of eight months up until the day she had to wear braces at age twelve. She was able to resume her fashion model career when her braces were removed at age fifteen. It was at an Israeli beauty pageant on the year 2000 that she won the distinction of being Model of the Year 2000. From the year 2000 to current, Bar Refaeli became one of the most in demand fashion models which lead to the World Style Award at the Women's World Awards on March 5, 2009. She starred as Noa Zuckerman in the Israeli television series Pick-Up (Which only lasted one season) on 2005 and as Eden on the Israeli film Sessions on 2011. She's the host for both seasons of the still in production reality television game show series The X-Factor Israel starting on October 26, 2013 with the second season starting on June 13, 2015. An Israeli businessman named Adi Ezra became her spouse on September 24, 2015. Bar Refaeli continues her fashion model career at this exact moment of time.
